Dec. 9 - Fuckin' Millenials

I don't really feel like writing right now so this is gonna be short

I'm in Paracas. I had a fun time getting here because the I asked to go to Paracas and they put me on a bus that was going to Ica. Got off the bus on the highway and took two colectivos to get here. No problem!

First night here I felt my first Peruvian earthquake. Weaker than some of the quakes I've felt in California so, No Problem!

Paracas is known as the "poor man's galapagos". The Islas Ballestas are beautiful and full of wildlife. One of the islands has an estimated 500,000 birds on it. I did not get poo'd on so No Problem!

These two fishermen trained a pelican to pose for pictures. It looked like a dinosaur but did not attack anyone so No Problem!

I drove a dune buggy in the desert which was fun. The beach in Paracas is pretty nasty, but the beaches in the natural reserve are as picturesque as can be. Our guide was kind enough to take us off-roading and even over a jump. We did not flip the kart and die so No Problem!

I decided after two weeks of studying and working on stuff in Lima that I should relax so the weekend was a fun time. I spent the whole weekend with the same crew and we kicked ass at trivia. We named ourselves the “Fuckin’ Millenials”.

Also, I attended a cebiche making class. It's stupidly easy to make cebiche.
